Helping folks receive state-based financial aid.

Stop worrying about grocery bills.

SNAP app.

What if you didn’t need to worry about your grocery bill?

Problem

Unemployed and Underemployed Philadelphians who have trouble applying for SNAP. 1 in 5 Philadelphians face hunger and 23% of Philly’s population live in Poverty. I myself am a Philadelphian on SNAP EBT, familiarizing me with the process, which differs state to state.

Solution

A free model that helps users understand how to apply on their own as well as a premium model that streamlines the application through our own app. All proceeds go to food banks and outreach orgs in the city.

Process

Informational interviews with nonprofit volunteers and folks in need, synthesis of insights through affinity mapping, journey mapping, defining user types and personas, defining user flows, creating wireframes and prototyping.
